Game 2 is 1:05 pm tomorrow afternoon on YES.
Yanks will have a very tough task; Taj Bradley is as hot as any pitcher in MLB right now, and he starts for Tampa. He hasn't allowed more than 2 runs in any of his last seven starts, and more than 1 in just one of them. In those 7 starts, Bradley is 3-1, 42 innings, just 28 hits, 8 runs, 5 earned, 3 HR, 15 BB and 53 K's. ERA of 1.07, WHIP of just 0.79 and an 11.36 Ks per 9 innigns. Yanks send Nestor Cortes out there, he got knocked around in his last start, the 3rd game in Tampa, giving up 7 hits and 5 ER in 4 1/3 innings. His stark home/road split is still in effect: 0-5 away with an ERA over 6.00, 4-3 at home with an ERA of 1.81. The Yanks are going to need that to continue for at least this start if they want to stay in the game.

My mistake; I thought the Monday game was in the evening, but it isn't, 1:07 start. For me, a morning med appointment and an afternoon one. I’ll see some of that game…probably miss the last couple innings…maybe we’ll have a 25 run lead when I have to go… 🤓 Second the nomination, inger. Hope your appointment goes well. |

Both Paulie and Kay were talking about DJ's struggles and both said "really odd" swings and results. I think you're sharp enough to figure out which letter should be changed. It's hard to watch. OK...notifications checked and caught up with, I'm going to get going.
See you guys tomorrow afternoon, at 1:07. for Bradley vs. Cortes. I won't be doing the Weekly Leaders, because it's just 3 games since the last one. (and just a bare-bones Sunday Standings for the same reason on Sunday).

I have a doctor's appointment of my own Tuesday afternoon, but I'll be able to watch that one, so you can check in here and I'll be doing my usual PBP. Good luck with your doctor's appointment! It's actually a follow up on a follow up. I expect it to show poor results, like the same test did last year, and just like last year, those results have already been negated by a good MRI I had a week and a half ago. Then my doctor will recommend an endoscopy, just to triple-check everything. Defensive medicine; what can you do? |

The first is psyche appointment, which was required to get a sleep medication. Weird. I want to do better than I’m doing on the pot tincture, plus it’s expensive vs. something within the bounds of my prescription plan. The second is my routine check up with my primary… |
