I was hoping for a different team, but right now they look just like they looked before the AS break. Two on, one out, no runs. Two on, NO outs, NO runs...

Oh, yes, let's interrupt baseball to promote a college football game 4 months from now. Just what Yankees' fans want to hear about.

DJ turning into a DP hitting machine. Tough to watch a respected player on the downside of a good career

Caballero gets a cutter below middle, takes it, 0-1 Gets a slider below and outside middle, pulls it to left for a leadoff single.

Walls tries to bunt a FB in the zone up and away, rolls it just foul up the 1st base line, 0-1 Takes a FB up and away, doesn't show bunt there. Waist high backdoor cutter, fouled off, 1-2 FB down the middle, Caballero trying to steal, so Torres has only one play on the grounder right to him, throws out Walls. Caballero to 2nd with 1 out.

Palacios swing under a FB just inside the high outside corner, 0-1 Swings over the curve winding up just outside middle above the knees, 0-2 Throw to 2nd to try to hold Caballero. He still leads the AL in steals, I think. Takes a FB on the outer 3rd above the waist at 97, ꓘ, 2 down.

His (Judge’s) career batting line at DH is similar to his line at DH. He’s been amazing since he’s become primarily a CF… Did you mean DH and right field? lol, yes. I’m a bit under the weather today. Had my 2nd and final shingle vaccine shot yesterday, and like a dumbass I was out in the sun this afternoon for almost 1/2 hour… which sent me to bed for a couple hours. Got up just before first pitch…

Parades... Cole steps off, turns and looks at 2nd, doesn't throw. Takes a waist high cutter on the corner away, 0-1 FB about 3-4 inches high, just inside middle, Paredes doesn't quite get to it, hits a fliner to Verdugo's right, but he comes in and over and gets it for the 3rd out. Rays get the leadoff man on, can't move him past 2nd.
Bottom 3, 0-0. 12 pitches for Cole in the 3rd, 47 through 3. Top of the order for the Yanks in the 3rd: Rice, Soto and Judge.

Rice hasn't come close to figuring Eflin out yet. But he's smart, so I'm hoping it's just a matter of seeing him another at bat or two.
