I just got to believe there is something wrong with DJ... He can't have just become this bad... You never know when the end is coming. It’s happened thousands of times on MLB history, especially when players have started missing large stretches of games. I have a feeling he’s going to want to play in ‘25, just to prove he can…He seems quite prideful… |

Cutter on the low outside corner taken for a strrike, 0-1
Chases a cutter above the zone outside middle, foul tips it, 0-2
Cutter misses way outside at the top, 1-2
Takes a curve that bounced outside middle, 2-2
Sinker above and inside middle, pulled foul
First pitch to Soto inside middle in 3 at bats tonight. I think.
Thigh high FB on the corner away, he goes with it and drives it to deep left center. No chance for Arozarena to track it down, hits the base of the wall, bobbles the carom, Soto goes for 3rd and the relay hits him and goes into the Rays dugout, allowing Soto to re-tag and score on the Little League HR, 5-0 Yanks!!

Trainer goes out to see Judge (SHUDDER!!!), but it's just a foul off his foot and he's OK.
Swings over a curve on the outer 3rd that wound up just below the knees, K, inning over.

The 4 walks tonight for Eflin is the first time he's walked at least 3 in over two seasons and 50 starts.
