BUT, they do have one hit... Rice lead off with a double.. At least he made sure it won't be a no hitter... Bradley might has a 2.44 era, but he is 4-4 for the season. Not exactly Cy Young.. His record has more to do with the Ray's lousy lineup. |

But he has been pitching at a Cy Young level for 8 starts, including today. If he's done for the day, he's 4-1 in those 8 starts with an ERA of 0.90, and 58 strikeouts in 50 innings. |

His record has more to do with the Ray's lousy lineup. You are right, but only one hit... Is he that good??? Nobody is THAT good, but 28 hits in 42 innings in the 7 starts before is a very low hit rate, just 6 per 9. |

If this rotation "needs to get back to the way" they outpitched their true level for the Yanks to get rolling again Paulie, you'll be waiting a long time for that. Teams have caught up to what they were doing, and unless Rodon can figure his crap out (unlike Stroman and Cortes, he still has above average stuff). the rotation is a big problem. Maybe Schmidt can come back and do as well as he was doing before he got hurt, but the odds aren't good for that.
