definitely another struggle for nestor. 6 hits & 2 walks in 4 innings. the walks to weak hitters and then one of those weak hitters goes yard.

Splitter just low, 3-0
Cutter hits the corner away, 3-1
FB hits the corner near where the cutter was, starts to go to 1st, but it's called strike 2, correctly.
Takes a FB well low near the corner away at 100.
Yanks have the leadoff man on for the 3rd time in 4 innings.

A FB above middle it hit hard but right to Caballero, who starts an easy 4-6-3 DP on Wells. 2 down, nobody on.

Hangs a splitter, but it's way high over the middle, Torres takes, 2-2
Gets another hanging splitter this one near middle, but fouls it off.
Fb inside near the top ties him up, grounder to Walls is an easy 3rd out.
Top 5, 4-0 Rays.
13 pitches for Bradley in the 4th, 68 through 4.
2-3-4 for the Rays, Paredes, Mead and Arozarena.

Walls is today’s Mark Belanger… Belanger actually had 3-4 seasons when he hit decently. In those seasons, Weaver played him more often. In his bad hitting seasons, Weaver would start him less, use a better hitter/worse defender at short, and bring Belanger in for defense. |

Change again misses by too much to get a chase.
Slider on the back door waist high, pulled to left and it carries over the wall despite Verdugo's futile leap, solo HR makes it 5-0 Rays.
