Judge hits a ball so hard, no chance for Soto to score. Runners on the corners.

Wells... Change starts inside, tails to the corner waist high for a strike, 0-1 Back leg curve, Wells starts, but stops in time, 1-1 Change drops to the knees in the middle, taken, 1-2 Maybe that's a DP ball if he swings, but it was a good pitch to hit.

I'm sitting at my computer and I have zero desire to put the game on.

Takes his timeout. Hanging slider just above middle, but he's late and under, fouled it off. Missed a cookie, Austin. O'Neill agrees. Curve in the middle thigh high, fouled That's 3 hittable pitches in a row, nothing doing.

Slider inside, thigh high, 2-2 Hanging curve, inside corner, fouled off his foot. 4 hittable pitches now, nothing doing. Change tails well outside, 3-2. Tried to get a chase, but also changed location radically there. Oh, come on alreay! FB right down the middle, I know it's 99, but you can't keep missing hittable pitches. Fouled off.

Judge was going on the last pitch, and was going again. A FB up in the zone is fouled back. Judge goes for the 3rd straight time, but the slider is 3-4 inches high, ball 4. Bases loaded, 1 down for Torres, and Snyder goes out to give Baz a breather.

That at bat is not a failure, but given the number of hittable pitches he fouled off, it's not really a success, either.

Wells is just not your usual left-handed hitter. Good result, but he is missing a lot of hittable pitches that most lefties would love to drop the bat head on.

And there it is... Torres goes after a 1st pitch slider at the knees, gets under it, pops it to short left, Arozarena catches and Soto must hold. And the situation finds Verdugo, who's completely lost at the plate.

Another awful at bat by Torres with the bases loaded. Soto probably should have tried to score there.

This team is Judge, Soto, and NOTHING ELSE!

Bad luck for Verdugo as he smokes one but right to Paredes. Thats just how its going for him.

Takes a FB just high, ball 1. FB just inside middle middle, but he fouls it off. Sigh. Another crushable pitch missed. Slider in the drop the bat happy zone, bottom inside quadrant, and he drops the bat on it and hammers a line drive, but it's close enought that Paredes can dives to his left and catch it. Close to a 3 run double, but another zero in the first for the Yanks. I don't blame Verudgo there. I blame Wells and Torres.
Top 2, 1-0 Rays. 24 pitches for Baz in the 1st.
J. Lowe, Caballero and Rortvedt for the Rays in the 2nd.
