Good sign there by Volpe, a line drive right up the middle.

Nice hit by Volpe, but if there is a Yankee who swings at more pitches outside of the strike zone I don't know who it is.

Rortvedt has caught just 8 of 47, 17% Runner are 0-1 against Baz.
Throw over. Fb in the zone up and away, Volpe popped to short, Caballero loses it in the sky, Walls comes off the bag from covering, and gets over to catch. Volpe also lost sight, and had to scramble back, 1 down.

Volpe had that base stolen but it was ruined by Grisham's weak popup.

Cabrera takes a FB way above the inside corner, 1-0 Antoher throw over on Volpe. Volpe goes again, and the FB up and in out of the zone, but Cabrera goes after it, and fouls it. O'Neill correctly criticizes Cabrera. And Cabrera refutes by pulling a waist high change on the corner away over 2nd and into right for a hit. Volpe stops at 2nd with 1 down. Rice up.

Just play Cabrera every day. DJ is cooked. His OPS is well below the Womack line.

Bases loaded for Soto.

Another awful at bat by Torres with the bases loaded. Soto probably should have tried to score there. Too shallow, likely 7-7-2 DP, Arozarena has a good arm, supposedly. He must be pretty fast too, if he's going to throw the ball, catch it himself, and still have time to throw the ball to home plate to throw out Soto.

Yanks reallly need to do damage before Baz finds it or gets lifted. Cutter down and in, taken for a ball Baz not paying attention, Yanks pull a double steal on a FB well out of the zone up and away, 2-0, 2nd and 3rd. Slider misses down and in, 3-0 Flies open, and the FB runs well off the plate away near the top of the zone. Snyder again comes out to try to rescue Baz. Soto up, bases loaded and 1 down, and if the Yanks can't come through in THIS situation with multiple runs, that's....BAD.

Just play Cabrera every day. DJ is cooked. His OPS is well below the Womack line. DJ's numbers are worse than Donaldson and Hick's when they were released, but contracts matter.
