Gets a waist high slider on the outer 3rd, huge hack, misses under it for the K, inning over.
Littell, not a high K pitcher, strikes out the side in the first on 13 pitches, all 3 swinging. Not a high swing and miss pitcher, either. Terrible start for the lineup.

Splitter to the low inside corner, turns on it and pulls it foul, 1-1
Leaves the slider in the drop the bat happy zone down and in, and he drops the bat on it and gets happy, the fliner down the line settles into about the 5th row of the Porch for a solo HR, his 7th of the season, Yanks take a 1-0 lead!

Off topic a bit, but I was doing some research on a player I won’t name. AI stated that said player had 5 seasons in double figures in triples, including two seasons of leading the league with a career high of 9.
AI may have a way to go before it takes over…
