FB inside off the plate, breaks his bat, but the flare goes over Cabrera into right center for a 1 out single.

Takes a slider in the zone, down and in, 0-2. Must've surprised Paredes with that one.
FB near the top, just outside, this one at 98, same spot that Siri hit the HR off, but Paredes misses late and under, pops it to Soto in right for out #2.

Change in the zone down and in has Mead off balance, misses late and under, pops to Grisham in right center, easy play, inning over.
Another good inning for Rodon, just 10 pitches and 83 through 4.
Bottom 6, 5-1 Yanks.
Volpe, Verdugo and Cabrera for the Yanks in the 6th.

Verdugo tries to bunt a FB near the top of the zone, bunts foul, good thought, trying to bunt for a hit there.
FB down the middle, catches Caballero leaning the wrong way, goes behind him as he dives to his right for a hit. Volpe stops at 2nd with nobody out.

Gets a bad splitter just below middle middle, and misses it. Pops it Lowe in short right, infield fly called, runners hold, 1 down.

Grisham takes a FB outside.
Littell holds the ball extra time, Volpe tries to time his break, but Littell steps off and picks him, he gets in a rundown, they tag him out, but Verdugo can't get to 2nd while that's going on. 1st time in his career Volpe was caught stealing 3rd.
FB outside, 2-0
Slider misses down and in, 3-0
FB clips to the top of the zone, outer 3rd, Grisham gets a small break, it's called ball 4. 10% on Gameday.
And that's it for Littell, Cash calls for righty Tyler Zuber to pitch to LeMahieu.
