Takes a curve on the outer 3rd for strike 2.
Gets a curve in the zone up and in fouls it hard off his foot.
Hobbling around now. He's 1-4 vs Maton with 1 K.

Holmes, on more than a week's rest, in a non-save situation in a 1 run game vs. the mets. Not a great idea.
But they have to use him at some point.

Bader gets ahead 3-0.
Takes a sinker for strike 1.
Hits a chop down 3rd, DJ lets it play him tries a desperate backhand grab gets by him into left field, Verdugo gets on it as fast as he can, but can't throw out Bader at 2nd, scored a two base error on DJ for now.

Swings over a slider just inside middle middle, 1-1
Swings over a slider down and in, 1-2
Sharp slider breaking both down and in, thigh high, well inside, swung over for the K, 1 down.
