Singapore was really cool. It reminded me a lot of Seoul, where i spent a year while in the Air Force back in 2006/07; surprisingly westernized. Bali was the best climate-wise by far, and beautiful. We were in northern Thailand (Chiang Mai), and it was beautiful, too...but probably the "dirtiest" comparably. Hanoi is amazing aside from the insane heat/humidity, but could be overwhelming at times with all.the traffic/congestion. We made it to Ha Long Bay while there and that's easily one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. I won't clog up the game thread, but if you don't mind I'll ask you a few things about your trip over on the Miscellaneous thread at some point. I do agree I was amazed by Hao Long Bay and wondered why it isn't more famous. Nothing else like it. Hanoi was also a revelation. Actually very charming. Anyway to be continued later. Start a "Travel" thread. You could fill with just your adventures. |

Turns over a change well outside and also low, takes that one, 1-2
Starts the big breaking curve for the middle, dives low on the inner 3rd, Jones has no chance, he'll fish for that one, and misses it by plenty for the K, inning over. Quintana gets the hitter he must get to keep Soto from getting a chance to break it open.

For what it is worth, I will be at the game on Wednesday. Doesn't sound like much, but I live in Chicago and am visiting my daughter who lives in Montclair, NJ. I have never been to the new stadium and she surprised me with tickets!!! Hopefully, they will win today and go for a sweep tomorrow. I hope you see a better game than I did last month when I went to the Stadium for the first time and the Yankees gave up 17 runs to Baltimore. Have a great time! If that happens, I will be gone after an hour... |

Change tails inside and up, makes him pull his hands back, but it's 3-1 now.
Gets under a slider, misses well up and in, ball 4.
And just like that, the command is missing again. Leadoff walk to the #7 hitting catcher.

Torrens is a decent little player, but knowing he was going to opt out I suppose all we could do was sell him to the Mets or promote him… he was very good depth…
