Sinker on the inner half hit hard down first, Alonso almost stumbles as he fields, takes it to the bag. 1 down.

Change on the corner away to Judge, fouls it off, 0-1
Change well low, outside middle, 1-1
FB up and in pushes Judge back, 2-1
Sinker well low, 3-1
Change almost bounced over home, ball 4.

I don't remember it, probably very few people were traveling in 2020. Last used in January of 2020. Then stopped for some weird reason.  I retired on January 8 2020 and on January 9 we were on a plane to Nice in the south of France. We spent a month there, then a few weeks in Florence, then visited friends in Paris before heading home just as Covid restrictions were coming in. We were so fortunate in our timing. Of course by mid-May we were back on the road again in Jekyll Island GA, which was the first place we found open again for business. I have to admit it was nice traveling with almost no traffic. But I wouldn't want to go back to it. |

Davis gets a wakeup call on a FB up and in near his head, 0-1
Takes a curve bending to the low inside corner, 1-1
Gets a thigh high curve in the middle, but is early and on top, fouled off 3rd. Missed a good one, J.D.
Comes up and in with the FB again to try to get him off the slop, 2-2
Tries to time the backdoor curve that would've been strike 3, can't hits an easy DP ball, 2 hopper to McNeil near 2nd, steps on the base and throw out Davis to end the inning with a 4-4-3 DP.
Top 4, 1-0 Yanks.
12 pitches in the 3rd for Quintana, and he's even again with Gil at 52 pitches through 3 innings.
Heart of the order for the Mets in the 4th: Martinez, Alonso and Vientos.

See-saw battle in MIami...O's got 1 in the 1st Marlins 4 in the 2nd, O's 2 in the 3rd, and now the Marlins get 2 in the 3rd. 6-3 Marlins in the bottom of the 3rd.

Martinez fouls off a slider right down the middle, 0-1
FB hits the top of the zone on the inner 3rd, not called, 1-1, 10-20% on Gameday again.
Change well inside, 2-1
Slider way outside 3-1
Waist high slider hits the outside corner, taken, 3-2
Good sequencing!! Follows that slider with a 98 FB a bit above it, swung under for the K, 1 down.

Change inner 3rd, below the waist, topped to the left of 2nd, Volpe scoots over, scoops it up, throw him out, 2 down.
Rays lead the Jays 1-0 in the 3rd.
