Torres steps in, takes his timeout immediately.
Takes a cutter inside middle, waist high, 0-1
Takes a waist high sweeper on the inside corner, 0-2
Flies open misses by a lot with a FB up and away, 1-2
FB way high over the middle, 2-2
Cutter just below middle middle, belted out to left, the Yanksz strike first again, and Torres strikes first again, his 10th HR gives the Yanks an early 1-0 lead!!

Soto fouls off a meatball right down the middle, 0-1
Chases a sinker up and in with a half swing, 0-2
Takes a sweeper well low and outside, 1-2
Takes a change well low, outer half, 2-2
Cutter above middle, Soto misses under, pops high to Lindor in short left center, 1 doun.

I'm surprised I did not hear JD Davis DFA news..... The only reason he's holding a roster spot right now is they don't have anyone on the 40 man that they're interested in bringing up to help. If they add someone they want to keep long term to the 40 man, it limits their options at the TDL. Either way, I don't think he'll be on the roster on August 1. |

Starts on a sweeper low on the inner 3rd, checks in time, 2-2
Slider at the top in the middle, spoils it
FB inside above middle ties him up a bit, he hits it hard, but not that hard, right near Linder in the 56 hole, he backhands from the OF grass, throws him out, 2 down.
