FB misses just up and in, 2-0 Sinker up in the zone, in the middle, takes a big HR hack, late and under, fouls it back and slightly to the right, 2-1 Same pitch, another swing late and under, pops to right, easy play for McNeil moving in and toward the line, 2 down. Stop trying to pull HRs, Gleyber. You're late and under almost every time you consciously TRY to do that. After so many years of getting hot and then falling in a hole, you'd think he would have a consistent approach by now in the box. |

Gets a fat slider thigh high near middle, but misses, fouls it
A VERY fat cutter right above middle, but the slight drop saves Cole, bounced foul off 3rd.
3rd straight poorly located pitch, a 96 FB below and inside middle, grounded sharply through the 56 hole for a leadoff single.

Cutter above and inside middle, 4th straight meatball, and Alonson doesn't miss it, belted way out to left, 2 run HR makes it 3-2 Mets, as they immediately strike back to re-take the lead.
