I thought Cole would get fired up for this one, but he didn't. He pitched carefully almost all night, as if he doesn't trust his stuff against the Mets (and Red Sox) two teams that have unusual success against him.

Sinker missesa bout 3-4 inches low, inside middle, 1-0. Hits Judge with a sweeper, bounced it off his front ankle/calf.

Wells up, 1st and 2nd, two down. Wells takes a sweeper just outside at the bottom of the zone, 1-0

Where exactly is the tropic of Sir Galahad anyway? And can you get there going through the desert on a horse with no name? Or do you need to take Ventura Highway? One of my nieces absolutely loathes the group "America." The odd thing is that she is a Beatles fan (and George Harrison especially). Both groups managed by the always adult in the room George Martin. What an amazing musician he was. I like a lot of America's stuff because in general I like melodic harmonies, although the stream of consciousness lyrics in their early days I could do without. Two of my favorites from them are "Don't Cross The River" and one of their late ones "Today's The Day." Two geographic groups I didn't care for were Kansas and Asia.

Sinker outside middle, fouled off, still 3-2. Sinker outside, ball 4. Bases loaded, two down, and the Mets will go to a righty for Volpe.

Do the Georgia Satellites and the Ohio Players count?

Nope, Ottavino. Interesting choice with bases loaded, I hope Volpe will be patient enough... Takes the big slider low, 1-0. Sinker backs over the low outside corner, 1-1 Slider way outside.
