I'm saddled with the Sox broadcast, and they were applauding Bello for walking Judge. I guess teams will keep doing it as long as Yankee cleanup hitters keep struggling.

Duran... Jumps on a FB up in the zone, late and a bit under, high fly to deep left, dies on the track, Verdugo is there, 1 down.

Refnsyder takes a FB well outside, waist high, ball 1 FB near the low outside corner, and Refsnyder bangs it right back up the middle for a 1 out single, bringing Devers into the 1st.

Wong takes a waist high FB, inner 3rd. Lucky he wasn't swinging 1st pitch. Takes a cutter inside about knee high, 1-1 FB inside waist high again, jams Wong a bit, and the flare falls in front of Grisham for a hit, 1st and 2nd, 1 out for Devers, and Nestor is immediately in big trouble.

Nestor doesn’t have it. If Devers hits a HR , game over

O'Neill gets a cutter just inside, keeps him from totally barrelling it, but the fliner goes to the track in left, Verdugo catches, Refsnyder scores, other runners hold, 1-0 Sox.

Nestor already gives up a run. He no longer is the nasty Nestor from a few years ago. IMO I would put him in the bullpen when/if we ever get starting pitching help.

Ugh, already losing but that could have worse I'll happily take the sac fly from O'Neill rather than the 3-run homer from Devers.

Yoshida gets a FB well high, outside corner, 1-0 A FB just inside middle, he's late and under pops to Cabrera off 3rd, he moves toward the Yankees dugout and catches, and Nestor is out of it with just one run allowed.
Top 2, 1-0 Red Sox. 13 pitches for Nestor in the 1st.
Torres, Rice and Volpe for the Yanks in the 2nd.

Loch Nestor Monster escapes with one run allowed. It was a bit scary…
