Refsnyder takes a FB way high, 1-0
Jammed by a cutter in, popped foul near the Sox dugout, but Wells and Rice scramble for it, and Rice makes a sliding catch and avoids a collision with Wells to boot. Outstanding play for the 1st out.

Wong takes a cutter well outside, 1-0
Gets a cutter hanging near middle, rifles it down the 3rd base line into the corner, Soto scrambles for it, corrals it, and holds it to a 1 out double. Devers up now.

Fb clips the low inside corner, and the pitcher's K zone disppears, called a ball, 20% on Gameday.
Slider low/away ball 2.
Gets a FB down the middle, swings big, misses, 2-1
Slider bounced near the corner away, 3-1
Slider on the very edge outside, thigh high, Devers goes and gets it, hits a liner off the Monster, Soto plays the carom well, Wong scores, but Devers has to stay on 1st with a RBI single off the wall, 2-1 Sox.

Big rip at a waist high FB on the outer 3rd, swung on and missed for the K, 2 down.

Laredo sinker bounced outside, no chance to get a chase, 1-2
Hangs the sweeper above and outside middle, but Yoshida misses under it, hits a deep fly to right, but it dies 2-3 steps short of the track, Verdugo catches, inning over.
Top 4, 2-1 Sox.
18 pitches for Nestor in the 3rd, 43 through 3.
Wells, Torres and Rice for the Yanks in the 4th.

O's lead the Padres, 1-0, top 4 in Camden Yards.
Jays-Rangers tied 3-3, top 3 at Rogers Centre.
