He’s supposedly got like 500,000 posts on assorted forums… I might have 100,000. Don’t recall how many I had on PP, and the old Prodigy forums, but I’ll yield to Russ. Especially since he used to post to himself…masturposting…

If we’re making a deal with the Rays I’d love to get Peredes.
With news that Dominguez and Stanton could come back…
C Wells 1B Rice 2B Chisholm 3B Peredes SS Volpe LF Dominguez CF Judge RF Soto DH Stanton
Bench if catcher, Grisham, DJ, Cabrera. Figure out what to do with Rizzo when he comes back.
Trade Verdugo and Torres for whatever you can to put towards some relievers.
Next year, try to move on from Stanton, Judge to RF, re-sign Soto, figure out 1B and Cf for whatever budget Hal allows.

A bidding for this: .247/.355/.438/.793 Such is the state of offense in MLB… He doesn’t even meet the “Noetsi Standard”…

A bidding for this: .247/.355/.438/.793 Paredes very good .355 OBP and much better than averge OPS are probably what stands out. Not sure how much the Yankees and Dodgers are bidding. Paredes isn't a bad player, he's versatile (3B, 2B,1B), and doesn't strikeout much for a player that has power.

A bidding for this: .247/.355/.438/.793 Such is the state of offense in MLB… He doesn’t even meet the “Noetsi Standard”… True, but he would be replacing DJ with a .492 OPS. And, it would make Peredes the third highest for OPS on the Yankees, until the return of Stanton, who had a .795 OPS when he was injured. Of course, that does nothing to recapture a shut-down bullpen for the 7th, 8th, and 9th innings. If the Yankees could wrangle a closer, Holmes could set-up and pitch more regularly, which he needs to keep his mechanics in line. Yes, there is a difference between pitching in the bullpen and actual in-game appearances and innings.

Nice foil, Mr. Curry. We’re three pages in so far and apparently this deal still hasn’t come together. Yep. If I was a baseball writer worth my salt, I’d announce that the Yankees were working on a deal right now, for they certainly are. Then, next trade they make I could say, “See? Told ya!” So very clever.
I am now going to announce that the Yankees are deciding who to demote or DFA when the final trades come in. Damn. I am soooo clever and smart. Look out, Jack! I’m coming for your job…🤓

Could they get Diaz and Paredes? Flip Verdugo and Torres elsewhere,
2B Chisholm (L) CF Judge (R) RF Soto (L) 1B Diaz (R) C Wells (L) 3B Paredes (R) DH Stanton (R) LF Dominguez (S) SS Volpe (R)
Whole lineup outside of Soto would be signed for next year so they can focus on that and not have to juggle everything else with it.
