Verdugo gets an immediate break, a FB into the zone up and away is a 100% strike, but called ball 1. Terrible call.
Gets a cutter inside middle, belts it to deep right, Verdugo probably not running hard out of the box, thinking it was gone, Abreu plays the carom perfectly and holds Verdugo to a long single in right, that shouldn't happen at Fenway. Good start/bad start.

A cutter on the corner inside near the top, 1-1
A splitter outside, 2-1
Terrible cutter hangs above middle, and Soto demolishes it to deep right center. Duran makes a silly attempt to climb the wall, but it goes over both walls of the bullpen for a 2-run bomb; Yanks take an early 2-0 lead!!!
