And, Jazz already hurt. He'll fit right in.

My thoughts turned towards the worst. One game and out for Jazz. But he seems to be okay. And he steals third!

Sinker taken low, outer 3rd. And Chisholm takes 3rd with nobody covering. And it turns into a run, as DJ lifts a fly to medium deep right, O'Neill catches, sac fly, Chisholm scores, 8-2 Yanks! Not sure I like that running up by five, but who cares, the team certainly does, and they give him a big greeting in the dugout, especially after going down and hitting his head.

Volpe takes a slider outside called a strike anyway. Missed by 2 inches on Gameday Slider misses, 1-1 Sinker down and in, grounded through the left side for a 2 out single, and Volpe joins the party.

Another manufactured run! Jazz created the run from an infield single and a sac fly from DJ LeMahieu.

Let's hope Rodon turned it around and ready to roll the rest of the season. Need to avoid Nestor if he is done.

Red Sox would and have done the same thing against the Yankees. Plus, you're on the road in Fenway, where you can take nothing for granted runs-wise.

Cabrera takes a cutter inside, 1-0 Fouls off a change down and away, 1-1 Fouls off a cutter up in the zone, 1-2 Cutter backs way outside and high, 2-2 Swings over a sweeper to the knees, just inside middle for the K, inning over. Yanks add one more due to Chisholm aggressiveness and legs, lead 8-2, going bottom 9. Weaver for the close? Gomes? I dunno.
Gonzalez, Jansen and Rafaela for what we hope is the Sox' last licks for tonight.

I'm a dinosaur that way, I know that. Plus, Chisholm gets a chance to make an impact, and I'm sure the team loaves that.

Ferguson stays in... Gonzalez gets a curve at the top, takes it, 0-1 Slurve taken low in the middle, 1-1 Fouls off a FB on the outer 3rd, 1-2 Cutter low, inner half, 2-2 FB tails outside, 3-2 Six run lead, Ferguson, come on with that stuff. FB inside ball 4.
All I can say is: S M D H .
