A splitter almost in the same spot, goes WallBall with it off the Monster, rebounds to Duran, who plays it well, but the throw to 2nd is not in time, leadoff double for Verdugo. Good start.

Soto takes a slider well outside, 1-0
A slider clips the outside corner near the top, but Soto gets the Soto, 25% strike on Gameday, not called 2-0.
Sinker at the knees, outside middle, tapped toward 3rd, Devers charges, throws him out. Verdugo hestitates, doesn't go, and he probably should've moved to 3rd on the play, 1 down.

Judge takes a slider well low/away, ball 1.
Judge gets a slider on the corner away, slaps it off the very end of the bat, bounces past Gonzalez at 1st down the line and dies in short right, Verdugo scores on the excuse-me single by Judge, 1-0 Yanks!!

Big breaking slider winds up inner 3rd, waist high, lined softly over 1st down the line, bounces into the stands for a ground rule double. Judge to 3rd with 1 out, and Chisholm coming up.
