FB low in the zone away, hit hard to the right of 2nd, Volpe goes far to his left from his shifted position near 2nd, lunges to grab, wheels around, throws him out, 1 down.

O'Neill misses a waist high FB on the corner away, 0-1
Swings over a curve almost bounced over home, 0-2
Takes a bounced back leg slider, 1-2
A bounced back leg curve, he starts, but checks in time, 2-2
Doesn't chase the FB about 3-4 inches high, and it's gone from 0-2 to 3-2.
FB just outside above the knees, O'Neill chases, misses late and under, pops to short right, Verdugo comes in to catch, 2 down.

Gonzalez gets a poorly located FB above middle, fouls it off.
Poorly located slider below and outside middle, Gonzalez just misses under, hits it to deep left center, dies on the edge of the track, Chisholm catches, inning over.
Top 3, 3-0 Yanks.
Another nice 1-2-3 inning for Rodon, again 11 pitches, and 22 through 2.
Top of the order for the Yanks in the 3rd: Verdugo, Soto and Judge.

Houck has settled down, two straight one 1-2-3s, this one 14 pitches, 27 in the two, and 47 through 3.

Curve at the knees, inside middle, timed correctly, but the drop made him top it foul, 2-2
Gets under another FB, misses up and away, 3-2
FB down the middle, fouled striaght back, almost smacking Wells in the mask. He ducked.
FB waist high, about 4-5 inches outside, slaps it to right center, Verdugo has to pull up on the flare, leadoff single
Yankee pickup k's with men on 2nd and 3rd and 1 out in his 1st at bat; Sox pickup leads off with a single in his.
