Slider cutting across the entire zone and winds up maybe 10 inches outside, thigh high, Duran chases for the K, inning over.
Top 4, 3-0 Yanks.
No hitter over and I'm glad, just pitch the game, the team and the park are tough enough to deal with without worrying about that stuff.
22 pitches in the 3rd, and 44 through 3 for Rodon.
4-5-6 for the Yanks: Wells, Chisholm and Torres.

O's beat the Padres 8-6, to avoid getting swept.
Jays wrapped up a sweep of the Rangers with a 7-3 win in Toronto.

Wells fouls off a splitter down and in, 0-1 Another splitter about 2 inches below the first, ripped down 1st and off the kickwall, Wells holds with a single, then O'Neill fumbles it and Wells takes 2nd on the error. Head's up running by Wells puts a runner in scoring position again for Chisholm with nobody out. |

Slider just outisde might have been ball 4, but was close enough to guard the zone, tops it to Gonzalez at 1st, takes it to the bag as Wells moves to 3rd with 1 down.
