Oooh, got a slider below middle, but missed, fouling it off.
Sinker misses inside near the bottom, 1-1
Slider backs up inside, makes Gleyber jackknife, 2-1
Splitter misses just low on the corner away. Maybe Houck wanted that one, but it just missed, 3-1
Slider backs up inside, ball 4. 1st and 3rd, 1 down and Rice is set up for a big damage hit, or a big damage GIDP.

Sinker down the middle knee high, and Rice doesn't wait, hits it hard to deep left center, Duran goes back and catches with a lunge, drops on transfer, Wells scores easily on the sac fly by Rice, 4-0 Yanks!

Volpe gets a break, Sinker tails over the outside corner, 60% on Gameday, but Wond had to lunge across, so the ump misses the call, 1-0
Slider inner 3rd, fouled off, 1-1
Sinker dives low near middle, 2-1
Good sinker with two plane movement winds up in the zone down and in, Volpe tops it between the mound and the 3rd base line, Houck moves quick to field, fires a strike, and Gonzalez is able to avoid his arm behing snapped off by Volpe steaming down the line, inning over.
Yanks play some solid fundamental baseball, taking advantage of O'Neill's fumble to get a run on a grounder to the right side and a sac fly to deep left center, lead, 4-0, bottom 4.
18 pitches for Houck in the 4th, 65 through 4.
Refsnyder, Wong and Devers for the Sox in their half of the 4th inning.

FB at the top, outer half, belts it over the Monster, solo HR leading off the 4th, makes it a 4-1 game.
