Great job coming back from 0-2 for Verdugo! Bases loaded for Soto!

Verdugo swings over a cutter down and in, 0-1 FB on the inside corner near the top, taken, 0-2 Sinker just inside near where the FB went, 1-2 Bounces a splitter over the inner half, 2-2 Sinker misses just high, near middle, 3-2 Sinker almost right down the middle, fouled. Arg. Cuter down and in, ball 4. And the situations are the same. Gil walked Schwarber to load them for Turner; Wheeler walked Verdugo to load them for Soto. Great work by Alex, taking some close pitches that did miss, after falling behind 0-2.

We have intermittent power outages in my area. !st floor is in the dark. Foyer lights are out. Several houses on my block has no electricity. As long as my kitchen area is functioning I'm good. Additionally, my upstairs electricity is ok. Lights was flickering earlier. I'm prepared with alternative charged lanterns, charge battery packs for phone/ tablet, etc. Hopefully have stable electricity to watch the game. Yikes, good luck with all of that. I hope your full power is restored soon. Geez, now my refrigerator is out. Fortunately, I have lights and internet/cable.

FB inside near the top. 1-0 Takes a sinker into the zone up and in, 1-1 A hit would be great, but I'll take a sac fly here, Juan. Splitter brushes the bottom of the zone in the middle, not called. Soto gets the Soto-call even against a great pitcher like Weaver, 5-10% on Gameday. maybe that cracks Weaver a bit...

Sinker inside, he takes a half swing, misses, 2-2 Takes his timeout to think about the next pitch

I can't remember the last time we had a lineup like this where all 9 guys actually belong starting games as everyday players lol. I guess maybe not Rice, but he's been decent enough so far.
I'm not even saying it's the best lineup or anything, but god is it refreshing.

Splitter low on the inner 3rd, 3-2 FB inside, chases and fouls, still 3-2 A BB is also fine, Juan.
