Stott takes a sinker inside, ball 1
Takes a sweeper that backs up outside instead of hitting the back door
FB inside middle, jams him a bit, but the flare goes right over 2nd into center for a hit, got the hands in, good job by Stott.

Takes a FB on the corner aaay, waist high, 0-2
Slider low and away, check swing tapper to Torres, he makes the only play he can, barehands and flips underhand to Rice in time, 2 down, Stott moves on to 2nd.

Back to Schwarber at the top.
Sinker barely low near middle, 1-0
Sinker in a bad spot above the knees and inside midddle, fouled off, 1-1
Slider down and in, taken, 2-1
Slider way down and in boucned past Wells for a wild pitch. Stott to 3rd with 2 down, 3-1 on Schwarber.

Sinker not in a great spot, just inside middle middle, fouled off to the right. Lucky Turner didn't do damage with that one.
Sweeper to the same spot, and he doesn't quite center that one either, popped foul off 3rd, 0-2.
Slider way low and away boucnes high off Wells, who can't keep it in front of him, wild pitch scores Stott and moves Schwarber to 2nd with two down, 9-4 Yanks now.
Slider low/away, tapped to the left of the mound, Tonkin on it right away, then proves he's a Yankees pitch by firing a bullet to the home plate side of 1st, forcing Rice to jump and shift his feet to come down on the bag for the 3rd out.
Well, that's a big out, getting Turner and forcing Harper to lead off the 8th instead off batting with a change to make it a game.
Top 8, 9-4 Yanks.
Chisholm, Torres and Rice for the Yanks in the 8th. Gregory Soto into the game for the Phils.

Looks like some of the luster is wearing off of Tonkin. Was a good story for a while, but this is the fourth straight outing he's surrendered at least 1 run. 5 run lead, let's not get silly.

Squares to bunt, gets a sinker in the same area, bunts just foul off 3rd, would've been a hit if it stayed fair, 0-2
Takes a slider well outside and also low, 1-2
Takes a sinker to the low outside corner for the ź, 1 down. 20% on Gameday. Chisholm shakes his head but he's wrong.
