Looks like some of the luster is wearing off of Tonkin. Was a good story for a while, but this is the fourth straight outing he's surrendered at least 1 run. 5 run lead, let's not get silly. he got that big double play It also would be nice if our starters for the most part could go more than five innings. |

Sinker outside middle, Soto slaps it down the 3rd base line, beats Hays to get into the corner, Verdugo chugs all the way around from 1st with 2 down to score, and it's a 12-4 lead for the Yanks!

Judge fouls off a FB near middle, 0-1
Chases a slider out of the zone down and in, 0-2
FB hits the high inside corner, not called, 1-2. 20% on Gameday; Judge got a break. Most of the iffy calls have gone the Yanks way tonight. Wheeler got squeezed several time, including once in the big at bat by Soto that he doubled in two on.
Fb inside, 2-2
Slider on the inside corner fouled.
Slider on the inside corner about 6 inches higher, swung under for the K, inning over.
Yanks tack on 3 more, and now it's bottom 8, 12-4 Yanks.
Harper, Bohm and Marsh for the Phils vs. YOENIS SIGHTING!! in the 8th.
