Change to the low outside corner, right to Torres, and he plain...just...boots it. E-4. Got caught backing up and tried to close the hand on it before it was in the glove. SMDH.

Slider bounced way outside past Wells for a wild pitch, moving Marsh to 2nd with 2 down.
Realmuto gets a slider on the outer 3rd, lines it over a leaping Volpe to left for a hit, Marsh rounds 3rd and is held, down by 8.
1st and 3rd with 2 down.

Lack of concentration at various times and places, I'd say. Or, conversely, overthinking and overtrying other times. Much better when making instictive plays, like the barehand underhand flip the inning before. |
