I'm pretty sure Jazz Chisholm is the first Bahamian to ever play for the Yankees. There haven't been many in MLB history. The only players I've heard of are Andre Rodgers, Tony Curry and Ed Armbrister. He seems awfully likeable. I don't know where the supposed personality problem issue came from. Armbrister Nassau, Bahamas 1948-07-04 1973 1977 Jazz Chisholm Jr. Nassau, Bahamas 1998-02-01 2020 Active Wil Culmer Nassau, Bahamas 1957-11-11 1983 1983 Tony Curry Nassau, Bahamas 1937-12-22 1960 1966 Wenty Ford Nassau, Bahamas 1946-11-25 1973 1973 Lucius Fox Nassau, Bahamas 1997-07-02 2022 Active Antoan Richardson Nassau, Bahamas 1983-10-08 2011 2014 Andre Rodgers Nassau, Bahamas 1934-12-02 1957 1967 Player Born In Date of Birth Debut Year Final Year Major League Baseball Players Born in Bahamas…

FB at 100 above middle, and Harper fouls it off, Got away with a bad location there. Slider inside makes him pull his arms back, 1-1 Swings over a slider below and outside middle, must've thought it was the FB. 1-2 FB outside thigh high, chased and fouled Slider just outside waist high, fouled down the left side. Throw over. FB above the zone at 99.5 hased and fouled. Slider in the zone below and outside middle, hit high to deep left center, Verdugo has to retreat to the track, catches, inning over. That was too damn close. Harper is a powerful hitter, too. Almost an excuse me HR to left center.

Who did the Yankees remove to make room for Stanton? I haven't seen it and I'm only able to get the Phillies broadcast.

That should have been two. Willow makes that play ten times out of ten.

23 pitches for Gil, and 52 through 3. Gil should've been out of it without any runs, but did very well to hold it to just 1 run. 3-1 Yanks, going top 4. Wells, Stanton and Chisholm for the Yanks in the 4th.

Wells gets a FB below middle, fouls it, 0-1 Takes a splitter well below the knees, 1-1 Swings over a low splitter that was much closer than the one before, 1-2 Takes a FB going outside and high, 2-2 Gets a sinker in the drop the bat happy zone, inner 3rd below the waist...and just stares at it, thinking it was the slider, I guess. ꓘ, 1 down.

Stanton gets a 95 FB above middle, swings under, 0-1 Misses under a FB above and inside middle, 0-2 FB on the corner above the waist, away, fouled Sweeper so far outside and low even Stanton doesn't chase, 1-2 FB well high, and a bit outside too, taken, 2-2 Sinker to the very top of the zone, inside middle, gets under it, flies to Marsh in fairly deep right of center., 2 down.
