FB well inside, Realmuto doesn't turn the mitt trying to steal a call, goes off his mitt back to the screen, Soto to 2nd on the WP.
FB is low, 2-0
Judge gets a break, Slider into the top of the zone 100%, not called, maybe because Realmuto had to move from the target.
FB inside corner, pulled foul off 3rd.
Slider for the backdoor stays outside, ball 4
1st and 2nd, nobody out for Wells, who's the 3rd hitter for Strahm so he must stay in. Pitching coach Cotham comes out to try to settle down Strahm.
Wells has never faced Strahm before.

You can PH with Stanton, sure, but historically, he's a gosh-awful pinch hitter.

Big breaking slider starts at him, starts to break toward the zone, tries to spoil misses inside as Wells misses under for the big K, 1 down, 1 for 9 with RISP now.

Chisholm 1-8 vs. Strahm with a RBI and 5 K  Takes a sldier above middle, 0-1 Slider up and in backs him off, 1-1 Takes a FB barely at the knees, in the middle, 1-2 Slider on the low outside corner, excellent spoil to stay alive. And it matters!! Hanging slider above and outside middle, belted down the line to deep right, but it stays fair!! 3 run HR for Chisholm and the Yanks have the 5-4 lead!!! Four Homers in the last two games for Chisholm!!! |
