Volpe takes a sikner at the knees in the middle, 0-1
Takes a 2nd sinker just above and inside the 1st, 0-2
Curve to the knees, outer half, tapped to the right side, Stott has to go a long way from where he was positioned near 2nd, fields, turns and throws him out by a half step, and nearly falls down trying to race across the bag in time. Works as a bunt as Rice goes to 2nd with 1 down.

Grisham gets a waist high FB inside corner, fouls it.
Tries to dump a bunt down 3rd, but gets a cutter in the zone up and in, pops it foul off 3rd, 0-2
Tries the Maddux spillover sinker, but misses inside, 1-2
Another Maddux sinker on the inner 3rd ties him up a bit, grounded to Stott, throws out Grisham as Rice moves to 3rd with 2 down.

Verdugo...
Takes a FB just inside near the top, 1-0
Good curve winds up below the waist near middle, taken, 1-1
Misses just inside with a cutter above the waist, 2-2
Tries the Maddux sinker to the corner inside, Verdugo takes it and it maybe got the corner, 1-2% on Gameday, so maybe a good call.
Gets set, then steps off.
Change starts in the zone, tails outside just above the knees, Verdugo chases and swings over it for the K, inning over. Yanks now 0-5 with RISP tonight. In just two innings. Sheesh.
Bottom 2, 1-1
15 pitches for Nola in the 2nd, 35 through 2.
Realmuto, Castellanos and Stott for the Phils in the 2nd. Warren threw 18 pitches in the 1st.

Castellanos takes a FB well outside. 92 on the FB now.
Waist high slider on the corner away, Castellanos hits a soft liner to Torres, who catches with a tiny jump, Realmuto gets back.

Takes a change low in the middle, 1-1
Takes a change bounced on the inner half, 1-2
Bad FB below middle, just sitting there, but he got lucky, Stott fouled it off, 2-2
FB well high, outside corner, 3-2, throws behind Realmuto, but he gets back.
FB outside is ball 4, and Warren building up trouble. 1st and 2nd, 1 out for Hays.

Terrible slider below and inside middle, hit high to left, toward the corner, but it clears the wall for a 3 run HR, and it looks like a get-even rout is under way, 4-1 Phillies.
