I'm actually going to be home for this one but I need to get in a nap before work tonight. I could be wrong, but I think Nestor will convince me to take a nap early.

They really need a bounce back from Nestor today, the pen was worked hard last night. Well, the good news is they get de los Santos today, who can pitch 2 innings and is coming off of 2 days rest. Of course, that rest includes getting his world turned upside down in a trade. |

The Yankees just recalled Ron Marinaccio for today's game, Warren was sent back down to Scranton. If de los Santos is available today, the Yankees will have to make a separate roster move.

It's possible that de los Santos may not be in town yet. They have 48 hours to report after a trade and he was coming from San Diego (after just having left Baltimore). With the trade being made at the deadline, he may not have been able to get a flight from SD to Philly. There was one flight that left SD direct to Philly at 10pm eastern yesterday, but who knows if it was full or if they had time to make arrangements (when you're not on a chartered flight and you're not an American citizen, things take longer). They surely aren't chartering a flight for him alone. |

Torres leading off and Narvaez catching against the lefty Sanchez. This is what drives me nuts about Boone - The lineup has been very effective with Verdugo leading off. Why flip him and Gleyber now? And, ugh, DJ's back. That's probably 4 wasted ABs right there. |

And, ugh, DJ's back. That's probably 4 wasted ABs right there. Boonie just assumes that Judge, Soto, and Jazz are all gonna hit three HR apiece and cover for the others…crazy… |

Torres leading off and Narvaez catching against the lefty Sanchez. I understand some changes in the lineup right v. left, but I really feel there should be some continuity as well, especially in the leadoff spot. |
