Spliter outside, fouled.
Splitter starts down the middle, dives low above the knees, Marsh swings over for the K, inning over.
He did well to hold that inning to 1 run with diminished command of multiple pitches. Good thing they have a day off tomorrow.
Top 9, Yanks holding on by their fingernails, 6-5.

Phew. Leiter extinguishes the fire as the Yanks cling to the dreaded one run lead heading to the 9th. Need a few more runs, I think...
