FB tails up and in, taken, ball 1
Sinker tails inside, Schneider turns on it and pulls it hard but foul off 3rd, 1-1
FB at the top, swung under, 1-2
Loses another slider, backs up way inside, Schneider barely avoids, 2-2
Tries to back a sinker over the corner away and misses, 3-2
FB up in the zone near middle, popped to short right, Soto calls off Cabrera, catches, 2 down.

maybe gleyber was pulled for not running on the ball off the wall. but if so, why wait a couple innings.

1st pitch sinker tails off the plate inside to Jimenez, ties him up a bit, the grounder goes to Chisholm, throws him out, inning over.
Welp, he gave up the 2 run single to let the game get further away, but Tonkio gives the Yanks 7 outs. Tonkin at 28 pitches now and is very likely done for the night.
Bottom of the 5th, 7-2 Jays.
Rice, Volpe and back to the top for Verdugo for the Yanks in the 5th.

FB into the top of the zone, outside middle, bounced foul off 1st, 1-1
FB dives low, outside middle, 2-1
Great take on the splitter that's a strike almost all the way home, then goes low. 3-1
FB bouned over home is ball 4. Leadoff walk from Rice.

Volpe takes a rare slider, hits the inside corner by a hair, strike 1.
Sinker doesn't sink, hangs up in the zone inside middle and he goes with power the other way, gets into the Yanks bullpen for a 2 run HR, Yanks cut it to 7-4!
