Sinker inside middle, Chisholm fouls it off his foot and he goes down in pain, 0-1
Gets up, and swings over a sinker to the low outside corner, 0-2
Takes a curve low and outside, 1-2
Bad swing, trying to pull a curve bounced outside to the Porch, swings way over it for the K. Inning over.
It might be a good idea for someone to explain to Jazz that he shouldn't try to pull EVERY pitch in this park. That's what it looks like the last 2 at bats against the lefties.
Top 8, 8-5 Jays.
Berros, who came in for Springer leads off, to be followed by Loeprfido and Guerrero for the Jays.
De Los Santos stays in.

FB to the knees in the middle, Berroa fouls it off.
Takes a bounced change. 1-1.
Change away, pulled hard toward the 34 hole, but Rice dives to his backhand to grab the high hop, gets up, moves toward first to makes a flip on target to De Los Santos.
1) De Los Santos getting hit hard.
2) Rice with brillinat hand-eye on that play, he had to raise the mitt while falling to the ground.
3) Girardi correctly pointing out that Rice took a few steps toward first to make an accurate flip, rather than getting up fast, flipping immediately and risking a bad toos.

Slider aimed for the backdoor misses outside by a couple of inches, but Wells steals strike 3 with a great frmaing job, ꓘ, 2 down.

Guerrero goes after a 1st pitch slider above the knees in the middle, not quite barrelled, lifts it to short left, Verdugo comes in, catches, inning over.
Bottom 8, 8-5 Jays.
Zach Pop in to face Cabrera, Rice and Volpe.

Sinker dives low and outside, ball 1 on Cabrera.
Sinker catches the very top of the zone, outside middle, 1-1
Cutter above the low, inside corner, bounced foul off 1st, 1-2
Chases a 97 sinker well below the knees, high chop to Guerrero, takes it to the bag, 1 down.
Yanks doing nothing against this alleged terrible pen of the Jays. So far.

Gets another below and outside middle, goes with it to left center, but it slices right to Loperfido for the 2nd out.

Volpe chases a sinker just out of the zone down and in, fouled
Takes a sinker at the bottom in the middle, not called, marginal, 10% on Volpe, but he might have gotten a break, 1-1
Takes a sinker in the zone low/away, 1-2
Pulls the string on him after 3 straight sinkers 96-7, throws a slider over the middle low in the zone, Volpe opens up early and pulls off and over it for the K, inning over.
Top 9, 8-5 Jays, and the Yanks havve left Green wiggle room, assuming the pen holds the deficit to 3 runs.

Takes his timeout.
Slider way below the outside corner, 1-2
Yanks a sinker well inside at the knees, 2-2
Big breaking slider down and in, Horwitz holds, from 0-2 to 3-2
Slider 4-5 inches low near middle, fouled.
Good moving sinker dives to the corner away, big rip by Horwitz, misses under it for the K, 1 down.
