Expect a rain delay. I don't expect game will begin until about 8:30 Looks that way, lauren. For what it's worth, Accumeather's Minutecast says the rain should let up around 7:35 and stop around 7:45 in the Stadium area, but their radar loop future radar shows a secondary line setting up just east of the Hudson River, and hovering over or just east of the Stadium area for another hour after that, slowly moving away to the east. So they might resume around 8:15, but not if the secondary rain sets up around them. No point in starting this until rain clears out, and that might not be until 9:30-10:00, but that's very iffy.

For you in the NY area, what’s the future weather outlook?? Please my reply to lauren just below this one of yours for my best guess. Very uncertain after 8:00, but the rain delay should last at least until then.

As they are officially in rain delay, I will take leave of the game thread for a while and go do a couple of other things... Assuming they don't call it at some point for tonight, I'll be back just before they get underway.

45 years ago we lost Thurman. Yes...the 2nd. Forgot today was the 2nd. First "hero" I ever lost, especially that way.

45 years ago we lost Thurman. I'm sure many of us on here remember that day vividly. It seemed impossible to believe when that news came out.

Have a great birthday dinner my friend. Wow, I haven't had French Onion Soup in a million years, but it sure sounds good. In the 70's, it seemed every restaurant had it on their menu. Thank you desousa! Is it uncouth to order the French Onion Soup at a French restaurant? Cuz that's what I'll be doing. I'd order the snails.

Game schedule for an 8:30 pm start. Accuweather Minutecast and future Radar are now both schoing no rain after this but with the cryptic comment "Rain may form in the area in the next 115 minutes". So there's still a chance for that secondary line of rain to set up.

Weather didn't hold out for the outdoor concert BUT we all got a big table out an outdoor restaurant and spent a fun few hours. I see I'm home into for the game to start.

Greetings, teammates. Checking in late after the girls talked us into Red Robin for dinner. Appears I didn't miss anything. Have they said anything about if/when it'll get going?
Edit - nm, just saw qwik's post above.
