Not the start I was hoping for. Looks like we're getting "Bad Marcus" tonight. Our pitching really concerns me with regard to any postseason success.

Clement... Fouls off a cutter down the middle, low in the zone, 0-1 Bounces a slurve outside, 1-1 Takes another slurve outside 2-1 Cutter well outside, 3-1 Fb waist high outer 3rd, foul. Hangs another curve above middle, belted to deep left, Verdugo goes back hard and has no chance, bounces to the wall, 2 runs score on the double by Clement, 3-0 Jays, and Stroman has nothing tonight.

I'm listening but not watching. Sounds like Stroman is throwing bating practice.

Sinker just above middle middle, AGAIN, but Schneider fouls it. FB inside corner at 88, also fouled, 0-2 Slurve starts in the zone, goes low/away, he chases for the K to end the inning.
Bottom 1, 3-0 Jays. 25 pitches in the 1st for Stroman.
Stroman going to hate it and might start a problem, but when Schmidt is ready, Stroman is the one who'll have to leave the rotation. Maybe. It could be Cortes, which would give them a 2nd lefty.

Verdugo... Takes a FB below middle, 0-1 Takes a splitter thigh high, outer 3rd, 0-2 Expects a splitter, and takes a mistake, a meatball FB below the waist inner half for the ꓘ, 1 down. Mental lockup by Verdugo.

Hopefully Stroman can settle in, but I'm not holding my breath. Would be nice to not get into the bullpen too early, but at least they got a much needed day off.

Judge... Takes a FB outsidq above the knees, 1-0 Takes a slider going low/away, 2-0 Backs a tailing FB over the outside corner down in the zone, taken, 2-1 FB bounced outside, 3-1 makes a bad mistake!!! Leaves a FB in the drop the bat happy zone down and in, and Judge drops the Hammer on it, annihilates it into the real bleahers in left-center and the Yanks are right back in the game, 40th HR of the year cuts the Jays lead to 3-2!!
