FB inside middle, he hits it hard, but the grounder goes right to Clement, and it's an ubereasy 6-4-3 DP to get Gausman out of further trouble. 106.8 on that DP grounder.
Top 2, 3-2 Jays.
The DP also saves Gausman from a long inning. 16 pitches in the 1st.
Jimenez, Serven and back to the top for Springer in the 2nd for Toronto.

Springer...
Fouls off a curve on the low outside corner, 0-1
Cutter away, fouled off the right side, 0-2
Curve backs up but drops hard below the knees, inner half, was supposed to be away, but Springer swings over it for the K to 3nd the inning.
Bottom 2, 3-2 Jays.
Stroman with a good bounceback inning, 1-2-3 on 12 pitches and 37 through 2.
Chisholm, Torres and Rice for the Yanks in the 2nd.

Fouls off a FB just below middle middle, 1-1
Splitter low, near corner away, 2-1
Splitter bounced for ball 3.
FB waist high, inner 3rd, belted to deep left, Torres stops to admire it, it hits the wall in left, off the wall, and because he watched it go, it's just a long single.
Another mental error by Torres. Sigh.
