Well at least the O's are on their way to losing again tonight.

Clement up... Backs a FB over the outside corner, just below waist high, 0-1 FB outside, hit hard through the box, gets past Stroman behind 2nd, Torres dives to his right, knocks it down, but losses it for an infield hit. Guerrero scores, and Horwitz to 2nd, still 1 out, 5-2 Jays.

Someone needs to wake up Boone. He could choke on his bubble gum.

Don't you just love sweeping the best team in the game at their ballpark, then coming home only to get hammered by the worst team in your division?

Sinker above middle taken, 0-1 on Schneider. Slurve misses well outside, thigh high, 1-1 Gets a big break. Throws a sinker right on target, but the target was 3 inches outside above the knees, and ball 2 is called strike 2. 1-2. 0% on Gameday and not really close, missed by 3 inches. FB outside, 2-2 FB in the zone low/away, soft liner one hops to Rice, he looks at tagging the runner there, then turns and goes to 2nd, lack of experience at the position might have cost Stroman an inning ending DP, as Girardi explained. 1st and 3rd, 2 down for Jimenez

Rice shows his inexperience. Should have gone to first to get the DPI

Jimenez... FB outside at the knees, 1-0 Slurve low/away, 2-0 Slurve closer, but still low and outside, 3-0 FB misses well high, outside middle, ball 4 Bases loaded, 2 down, and Boone brings in Tonkin to try to stay in the game. You can't survive long in modern baseball if your entire game consists of trying to get hitters to chase off the plate. You have to one or two pitches that you can throw in the zone for swings and misses, or soft contact at the least. Right now, in spite of all the pitches in Stroman's repertoire, he has none.

Rice shows his inexperience. Should have gone to first to get the DPI Girardi said he had two option, run to tag the runner then beat the batter to the bag, or force him back to 1st, step on 1st and throw to 2nd ahead of the runner having to go 90 feet to beat the tag at 2nd.

If your pitching 7 shutout innings I can deal with it but when you are getting hit around the park like your pitching batting practice the rag on his head and cockiness if foolish.

Stroman must have got confused. He forgot it was a game and he thought he was throwing batting practice.

Serven takes a cutter at the top of the zone, missed just high, 1-0 Bad cutter backs up, stays in the zone down and in, breaks his bat, but serves it to center for a 2-run single, Jimenez stops at 2nd, and this one is getting out of reach, 7-2 Jays.
