Pipps, I heard this song for the first time yesterday, and thought of you and desousa . I know now that it was a hit for Webb Pierce and covered by many others. Not sure how I missed it after all this time. I never heard that version Rizz, but the Webb Pierce original is one of my favorite country songs. He had a beautiful high tenor and sang with great sincerity. Plus he wore the most garish Nudi outfits and had a huge guitar-shaped swimming pool. His similarly over-the-top car is a popular display at the Country Music Hall of Fame which we visited in May. Since hearing this on Spotify for the first time, I listened to Webb Pierce's version, and I agree with you. Beautifully done. I also saw on Wikipedia that Patsy Cline covered it, too.

TV Dinner in to face the Yankees. Discontinued in the US, but still cranking out those dinners in Canada…maybe that’s why he pitches for the Blue Jays…

Verdugo takes a spliter 2 inches outside, and that's called strike 1. 0% on Gameday. Spliter about 2 inches further outside, and that one is called a ball. Weird. 1-1 FB well outside, ball 2 FB misses up and away, ball 3
Fb above and outside middle, lifted high to left, Schneider goes back to the track, plenty of time, catches, 2 down.

Yeah, you guys know heat as well as anyone. I'll take it over 20/Dreary/Snowing any day... Not me. A pretty snow storm is fine with me…The steering wheel is cold, but I can wear gloves…

Soto goes after a waist high FB on the corner away, bounces it up the middle, Jimenez fields near 2nd, throws him out, inning over. Yanks go 1-2-3 on 10 pitches.
Top 7, 6-3 Yanks. Weaver comes in to face Varsho, pinch-hitting for Schneider, then Jimmenez and Berroa unless the Jays go to more pinch hitters.

Patsy Cline is another who could make anything sound good.

Jimenez... Swings under a FB up and in, 0-1 FB thigh high outside middle, big rip, fouls it, 0-2 FB well high at 97, looking for a chase, doesn't get it, 1-2 FB at the top at 97, swung under for the K, 2 down.

I love the cold, but I cannot stand shoveling snow, driving in snow, watching cars stuck in the snow, and cars rusting out from salt on the roads. Is there anywhere to live where it's cold but no snow?

Barger pinch hits for Berroa... Swings over a change going well below the knees, 0-1 Takes a FB outside, just below the top, 1-1 Takes a FB diving outside and low, 2-1 Change starts for the corner, dives low/away, 3-1 Change outside by 3 inches at the bottom, too low for Laz I guess, because he's called a bunch of pitches that far outside to lefties as strikes today, ball 4.
