Chisholm takes a FB high, 1-0 FB at the knees, inside middle, Chisholm barely misses under, gives it a ride, but it dies on the track in right center, caught by Barger, Judge tags and goes to 3rd with 2 down.

If I was a relief pitcher, I’d want to break Mike Marshall’s games pitched in a season record. In fact, I’d want to break Ripken’s consecutive game record… 🤓 I'd want to break Nolan Ryan's strikeout record and no-hitter record. Tall order. Those two will never be broken. Neither will Ripken's record, or even Gehrig's consecutive game mark. I want Rose's record. I want to be the all time Hit King.

Volpe... Slider into the top of the zone, taken, 0-1 Slider in the zone down and away, fouled, 0-2 Slider shoetop high, Volpe lunges down, hits a flare that falls in front of Schneider for a hit, Judge scores, and the Yanks get an important insurance run, lead 7-3 now!

I guess my point was… I’d want to pitch every day… My point, too, Inger. After all, I'm 59 now. Pitching everyday would be the only way to get to that strikeout record. I would expect that my velocity might wane in a few years.

TV Dinner in to face the Yankees. Mmmm. My favorite snack was Swanson Turkey Dinner with gravy, mashed potatoes, peas, carrots, with apple cranberry cake cobbler. I used to think that I was eating the same food as the Astronauts were eating. Now you're talking. Cutting that little space over the cobbler -- the instant potatoes with the slab of margarine -- the handful of frozen peas, and the soggy stuffing with mostly dark meat turkey. I'd down two of those bad boys for dinner if my parents were out, sitting with a tray while the TV was turned up to the moon. Wonderful memories. Also chicken pot pies.

Rice takes a FB outside, ball 1 Slider well outside, he chases it and fouls. Joe is right. Multiple calls on outside pitches to the entire Yankees team are forcing them to chase outside. Slider well low in the middle, 2-1 FB outside near the top taken, 3-1 FB outer 3rd, waist high, late and under, pops to Loperfido, who's now in left because Varsho PH and came in to play center. Inning over.
Yanks add 1 and lead 7-3, going top 8. Loperfido, Guerrero and Kirk for the Jays in the 8th.

Same here, Max. I love the cold, but I cannot stand shoveling snow, driving in snow, watching cars stuck in the snow, and cars rusting out from salt on the roads. Is there anywhere to live where it's cold but no snow? I don't know of any place where it's cold but it doesn't snow. Believe it or not, the dry valleys of Antarctica. Although housing is scarce there. Parts of the Mojave Desert and the Atacama Desert in Chile. But amenities would be hard to come by.

Kahnle in for the 8th.
Loperfido takes a change just below middle middle, 0-1 Change near the corner low/away, pulled to right of 2nd, but Torres was shifted in the 34 hole, has no shot to get it, leadoff single for Loperfido.
Guerrero up.
