Woooooooooooooooooooo. 1st pitch FB at the very top, outer half, and Clement barely gets under it to deep right. Soto drifts back and catches it on the track near the edge of the track, inning over. Almost a tied game right there.
Bottom 4, 4-1 Yanks 22 pitches for Rodon in the 4th, 71 through 4. Top of the order for the Yanks, Verdugo-Soto-Judge.

j Our cat and the dogs have food available at all times. Only 1 dog is chunky, but what a frame she has. If she had a short snout, she’d look just like a mini Brandy…block-shaped… If you have a chance, send Kay a couple pics. We haven't seen them since you first got them. As for feeding the kitties, I should have clarified. They always have dry kibble available. Because they are old, I give them a can of food twice a day. They were cranky - mostly Bogie - not to have their can at the usual time. Bogie has always been demanding. Boo-Boo is always patient, hardly ever complains. My ex neighbor went away once and I volunteered to feed their cat. It also had dry food all the time, but had to have a little fish broken up for it, some wet food, a few little Kitty treats. By the time I was done I wondered if she ever ate any kibble. She just sided this year at age 22…

Verdugo... Sinker below middle taken, 0-1 Sinker just below and outside that one, fouled, 0-2 Change just outside near the bottom, late and under, fly to left, easy play, Schneider catches, 1 down.

I slept until noon today, which angered my cats, who are used to breakfast at 6:45 AM. I got up early to do my long run, but it was still hot and humid. A very slow and difficult run. Our humidity is a touch high today at 19%, which you would I’m sure kill for. The UV is a nasty 10…

If the Ump didn't make so many bad calls, he wouldn't get yelled at so much.

Change way outside, ball 1. Sinker low, 2-0 Sinker on the corner away, 2-1 Change well outside, and Diaz misses another one badly, called strike 2, 5-6 inches outside. And that forces Soto to chase a FB about 3-4 inches outside at the top, hits a fliner to center, caught by Loperfido. 2 down. These calls are CRITICAL. Yanks need a long inning here to rest Rodon and Diaz is denying it to them with these bad calls.

Judge...slurve outside, ball 1. Slurve 3-4 inches low, called a strike AGAIN, this is ridiculous, 0% and not close. 1-1 Sinker outer 3rd fouled, 1-2 Slurve way outside, 2-2 Change in the zone down and in, fouled Change below the outside corner and WHAT? NOT A STRIKE?? WHY NOT???? 3-2 Sluver misses low and away, and Judge is forced to chase because of the 1-0 call, K's, inning over. Laz Diaz keeping Berrios in this game with repeated bad calls that he's not generally repeating for Rodon.

If the Ump didn't make so many bad calls, he wouldn't get yelled at so much. The incredulity is that those pitches are not close to marginal. Waaaaay off the plate.
