Ryan Burr has finsihed his warmups, he'll face Girsham, LeMahieu and Torres. He threw 23 pitches in yesterday's game.
Barger moves to 3rd, Berroa in right, De Los Santos from 3rd over to 1st.

FB maybe gets a tiny piece of the corner up and in, called a strike. 1% on Gameday. Slider in the zone down and in, pulled hard but right to Barger at 3rd, 1 down. Bad luck for DJ that at bat.

It's just been that kind of year for DJ. That easily could have been a double down the line.

Slider below the outer third, Torres fouls it of, 0-1 Slider backs up inside, 1-1 Slider bounced outside, 2-1 FB in the zone, inner 3rd above the waist, he's tied up, fouls it off the right side, 2-2. Slider on the insiide corner, he tries to inside out it, but the fliner goes right to Berroa in right for the 2nd out.

Jays go to Chad Green right here. DJ's liner was 101.5. Green vs. Soto. He struck him out Friday night on a full count cutter up in the zone if I remember right.

FB misses up and away, ball 1 on Soto. Slider, not a cutter, that's right, in the zone down and in, taken, 1-1 Arrggg Checks his swing on a slider that might have missed up and away, hits the bat, 1-2. Bad.

No way is Judge getting to hit here.

Soto takes his timeout. Arrggg... Square a FB at the top up TOO WELL. if he's under it, it's a line drive HR, if he's a little more on top, maybe it kicks around in the corner, goes for a double, but Berrroa gets the carom fast enough for them to stop Grisham from scoring, Soto barely beats the throw to 2nd with a head first slide.
Terrible, terrible, after the slider, Soto holding his hamstring. The trainer goes out. Hate having to sprint hard again after sitting for nearly 2 hours.
IBB to Judge loaded the bases, with 2 down for Wells.

FB on the corenr inside, Wells pulls off it a bit, misses, 0-1 FB in the zone up and in, fouled, and Wells is behind the 8-ball now. Takes the FB going well high and away, this would be another bad bad RISP fail Chases the Fb above the zone, pops it to short right, Berroa comes in, catches, inning over. RISP fail again. Yanks now 1-10 with RISP and have left 13 men on base, including the bases loaded three times now. I think.
They've already used Holmes and Kahnle. Whoever comes in has to face Schneider and Clement, with a very rare head to head De Los Santos vs. De Los Santos matchup in between.
Top 9, tied at 3.

So, yes, De Los Santos into the game for the Yanks. An acid test in just his 2nd game as a Yankee.

Schneider takes a slider on the low outside corner, 0-1. 25% strike on Gameday. Sinker tails to the inner 3rd, below the waist, taken, 0-2 Slider breaks low/away, tries to check, can't, K, 1 down.
