Luis vs. Enyel...
Takes a slider down and in, ball 1.
Leaves a sinker above the knees and middle, Luis is late and under, fouls it off.
Bad slider just below the middle middle, hard shot to 3rd, gets a tough hop, bounces up on him, he catches the bounce, throws him out by a step, 2 down.

And that's it for Enyel De Los Santos, Yanks trying to wear down Leiter, he's coming in for at least an out, his 4th appearance in 6 days and 5 games since joining the team in Philly. He'll face Loperfido to start with.

Sinker taken outside middle, 0-1
Splitter low, near the corner away, 1-1
Curve low near middle, fouled, 1-2
Throw over.
Good splitter stays up, but tails well off the plate away, weak hack by Loperfido misses early by a lot for the K, inning over.
OK, Yanks need to turn that into a cheap 1-out win by getting to Green.
Stanton, Chisholm and Volpe in the bottom of the 9th for the Yanks.

Slider backs up a bit, inside middle, but good drop, and Stanton swings over, 2-1
Slider on the outer 3rd, waist high, late and under, popped foul out of play behind 1st.
Slider hangs way high, taken 3-2
FB was supposed to be away, runs to the inner 3rd, up in the zone, late and under again, fouled off.
Slider stays up but bends 4-5 inches outside, Stanton can't wait on it, rolls it over to Clement toward the hold, throws him out by plenty, 1 down.

Chsiholm guesses FB 1st pitch, swings over a slider in the zone low/away.
Gets a slider right down the middle, misses late and under, pops foul off 3rd, Bargers moves a few steps off 3rd, then faces the ball as it drifts back, catches in foul territory, 2 down.

Volpe takes a FB on the outer 3rd, 0-1
Slider outer 3rd, lower, pulled to Barger at the 3rd, the throw is off the base toward home, but De Los Santos gloves and tags him in the guy for the 3rd out.
Volpe got the air knocked out of him on the hard tag. Gets up, looks like he's OK.
Yanks go 1-2-3 in the 9th. Now the Rays get a ghost runner, Loperfido, and Guerrero leads off, followed by Berroa and Varsho.
