Stanton gets a break on the 1st pitch, Slider into the top is 50-50 on Gameday, not called.
Slider gets the very bottom of the zone, outer half, 1-1. As noted at baseball savant, the slider has excellent drop.
Slider goes 4 inches outside, popped foul off the end of the bat, Horwitz goes to the Yankee dugout, calls off Kirk, catches, 2 down.

Varsho falls behind 1-2, then neaarly catches up to a 97 FB about 4 inches high on the outer half, drives it to deep right center, but Grisham catches a step from the wall, 1 down.

FB waist high, just outside middle, lined to right center, goes to the wall for a RBI doouble. 1-0 Jays.
Jays hitting shots all over on Cole. Whatever velo he had in the 1st is not there now.
