What an odd pitching change but I'm glad to see it. Low inning and pitch counts in almost all his starts, chi. I just don't think it helps with these guys development but I know this is the way the game is now. |

Agree... but you're right, that's the contemporary game, for good or bad. Wells takes a sinker bounced outisde, good stop by Kirk to save the wild pitch. Sinker misses well low/away, 2-0 3rd straight sinker is much closer to the zone, but misses for ball 3. Yanks the sionker way low, near the corner away, ball 4. Bases loaded, 2 down for Stanton, and Schneider takes out Little, brings in Zach Pop. |

Stanton has never faced Pop before, will have to rely on the bench scouting report and pad.

Sinker inside at 97, winds up waist high, but ties him up, bounced it foul, 0-1
Hope for a grounder that finds a hole, gang.
Sinker way low, Stanton tries to check, way too late, 0-2
