Ugh, two days without Yankee baseball. Yeah, plus the double-header piles up the rotation with no days off until next Thursday. Warren gets another start, I'd think, and he hasn't pitched since Tuesday last week against the Phillies. Normally, having been sent down 7 days ago, they couldn't re-call him, but he can be the extra man for the doubleheader, though that will leave the pen short, especially the 2nd game tomorrow or maybe Thursday. Or, they can stay in rotation with Gil and Cortes, let Warren pitch his normal turn at Scranton tonight, and bring him back for a start Sunday against the Rangers on a normal 4 days' rest, and use an extra reliever, probably Marinaccio, as the 26th man tomorrow. That would be violating the 10-day rule without a pitcher going on the IL as well, but the extra man rule for double-headers allows the Yanks to get around that as well.

Someone on Twitter was saying Gil is starting Game 1 and Warren Game 2. Of course, that's subject to change.

The weather report makes it sound like none of the LAA games will be played.

Maybe they should move these games to Anaheim? No thanks. Not back to the House of Horrors, and even though I'm usually up late, I prefer not to tie up those late hours with Yankees games. Too many west coast trips as it is.
