Rice... Takes a FB outside, waist high, 1-0 Takes a change in the middle, but way low, 2-0 Gets a FB above middle, and hammers it to right, but squared up to much, a bit of lift and it's gone easily, but the liner stays in the park, and Adell goes to the track to catch, 2 down.

Cabrera... Takes a FB outside near the op, 1-0 Takes a FB low near middle,2-0 FB in the zone up and away, fouled off. Curve backs up, inside and up, 3-1 FB knee high just outside middle, he's late and under, golfs a fly toward the line, Pillar moves that way, catches, inning over.
Yanks go 1-2-3 in the 7th on just 11 pitches.
Top 8, 5-2 Yanks, and it looks like Weaver will be coming in here to face the bottom of the Angels' order: Moniak, Drury and Adell.

Drury... FB inside corner, just above waist-high, fouled. 0-1. FB missed 3-4 inches outside at the top, 1-1 Good change to the knees, bounced foul, then hits his feet, 1-2
Brien Taylor might have had a great arm, but even before he got hurt in a fight, but had big control problems before that, if I remember right.
FB near the corner up and in, fouled Change taken low/away, 2-2 FB just outside middle, and Drury just plain misses under, K, 2 down.

FB at the top in the middle, fouled back, 0-1 FB in the zone up and away, taken, 0-2 on Adell. FB runs just inside, fouls it off his foot. Change bounced outside middle, 1-2 Change dives low near the corner away, taken, 2-2 Change bounced over the outer 3rd, 3-2. Don't walk this guy here, Weaver.

Change dives just low, and Adell is able to spoil. FB runs inside, Adell turns out it, pulls it foul and broke his bat as well. FB at the knees outside middle, Adell reads it by location and count as a change diving low, but it clips the bottom of the zone, 20% on Gameday, for the ꓘ that ends the inning.
Bottom 8, 5-2 Yanks. Top of the order for the Yanks in the 8th: Verdugo, Soto and Judge. Weaver needed 21 pitches to get the Angels 1-2-3. So if the Yanks don't score here, Holmes will come in to try for the save. Well, pretty sure of that, anyway.

Moore still in there for Verdugo and Soto, I suppose.
Verdugo takes a FB on the edge outside, 0-1 Takes a FB well outside, 1-1 Curve outside, tapped back to Moore, throws him out, 1 down.

Soto... Takes a FB high, ball 1. Gets a waist high FB outer 3rd, lined it like a rocket up the middle, but Neto standing right there, catches, 2 down. 112.8 mph on that lineout.
Angels immediately IBB Judge to let Moore face another lefty, Wells.
