Judge takes a sinker down and in for a ball.
Tops a cutter in the zone off the inside of the bat to the left of 2nd, Neto cuts in front of Stefanic, scoops it up and throws out Judge, 1 down.

Moniak takes a change down and in, ball 1 Swings over a change well low, 1-1 Flies open with a FB way up and outside, 2-1 Flies open with a slider way outside, 3-1 Change in the zone, inner 3rd, 3-2 Change in the zone low/away, hit hard to the corner in right, lands fair, bounces in the corner, a 1 out double. Warren clearly out of gas. And Boone doesn't punish him any further. Lifts him to bring in Tonkin(?!?), down by 7 (!?!) I guess Tonkin's out of the circle of trust now. Well, I suppose so. Trying to save Hill and Leiter for a more high leverage situation, not that there's going to be one. tonkin's had a rough couple games. 6.52 era over last games. so yeah maybe he's dropped down a notch. also he last pitched friday, so boone's probably thinking of getting 2-3 innings out of him. |

Verdugo takes a FB on the corner up and away, doesn't like the call, but it was a strike.
Change just outside, fouled, 0-2
FB near middle, centered and hit hard, but the fliner to right center, but Moniak gets to it on the dead run, then adds the Coney Eyewash, sliding to a knee with no heed to. 2 down.

Throw down by Thaiss on Stanton, hits his foot.
FB 95 waist high, near the corner inside, swung on and missed, another K by Chisholm, inning over.
Top 6, 8-2 Angels.
Strickland puts himself in line for a cheap W.
9-1-2 for the Angels in the 6th: Stefanic, Schanuel and Neto.

Schanuel works the count to 3-2, then gets a FB in the zone low/aay, lines it softly to center for a single. Stefanic stops at 2nd with nobody out.

Neto takes a slider into the very top of the zone in the middle, 0-1
Gets a slider thigh high down the middle, grounded hard to Volpe, has to slide to his backhand to spear it, gets up, fires a low strike to Torres, who hangs on, and just beats Schanuel coming down from 1st for the force.
1st and 3rd, 1 down for O'Hoppe.

Takes a slider outside, Neto goes, Narvaez gets rid of it quickly, the throw is on time, but I'm not sure the tag is, Angels don't challenge, 2 down.
