was 2-1 when i checked at the club. looks like they hit nestor hard in the 5th but de los santos put it out of reach. just needed one out and couldn't get it. yuch ...

Taking them in order from the bottom.
Red Schoendiest is in the Hall for his managing as much as anything.
Lazzeri is in there for his extreme hitting stats in his era, and for being a key hitter on multiple title winners.
Johnny Evers is in there for being probably the best player on a team that won multiple titles, for leading the Miracle Braves to a title, for the poem Tinker to Evers to Chance, and for his player-mananging.
Nellie Fox is in there because of 12 All Star seasons and gettting MVP votes in 10 seasons, including 7 in a row.

Forgot to mention ex-Yankee Roansy Contreras came in to relieve Anderson for the 7th.

Moniak, Stefanic and back to the top for Schanuel in the 8th for the Angels.

Well the orioles look like they will lose as well but this whole series just was annoying with the double header effecting things and bad weather

Bobby Doerr is an arguable case, but again, 9 seasons as an all-star, and 8 years of MVP votes.
Bid McPhee is a 19th century sabremetric favorite, got in via the Veterans committee in 2000.
